<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scanning position correction device suitable for correcting a scanning position error over the entire scanning range. <P>SOLUTION: The scanning position correction device includes: a scanning means for periodically scanning light emitted from a light source within a prescribed scanning range; a light detection means for detecting the scanning position of scanning light; and an approximation correction means for executing different approximation correction according to the position within the scanning range with the respective detected scanning positions as factors. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
