<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension device improving ride quality of a vehicle by alleviating a sudden change of a generated damping force of a shock absorber. <P>SOLUTION: The suspension device 1 includes the shock absorber 2 interposed between a vehicle body and wheels of the vehicle and exerting the damping force controlling relative movement of the vehicle body and the wheels in a vertical direction, a damping force adjusting mechanism 3 adjusting the damping force, and a control device 4 controlling the damping force adjusting mechanism 3 based on a target damping force. The control device 4 includes a correcting means 43 correcting the target damping force so that the change of the generated damping force of the shock absorber may be alleviated when the expansion/contraction speed of the shock absorber 2 is zero and a predetermined value. The correction means 43 corrects the generated damping force by offset toward speed increase by the difference β between a speed threshold value V<SB POS="POST">p2</SB>and a predetermined speed V<SB POS="POST">p1</SB>until the expansion/contraction speed x of the shock absorber 2 reaches zero when the expansion/contraction speed x exceeds the speed threshold value V<SB POS="POST">p2</SB>, and when the difference is from β to zero, correction is made to minimize the generated damping force. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
