<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timepiece substituted for conventional analog or digital time pieces. <P>SOLUTION: A timepiece 1 includes: a substrate having a series of small-size lights 4 displaying "hour" and "minute", and an electric or electronic controller for controlling the small-size lights 4. The small-size lights 4 are disposed dispersedly on the circumference of a ring 5. A plurality of jewels 8 are embedded in protection glass, and the plurality of jewels 8 are disposed at the positions of the lights 4, for example, at the positions of the "hours".
