<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technologies related to a method of removing a residual adhesive capable of relatively easily or inexpensively removing the residual adhesive from a surface of a metal body from which a surface protection film is peeled off, a method of cleaning the metal body surface, a coating pretreatment method and a coating method. <P>SOLUTION: By using a corona discharge treatment device 1, the surface of the metal body 2 from which the surface protection film is peeled off is exposed to an environment in which corona discharge is generated.
