摘要 <p>The present invention provides an exposure device, a liquid crystal display device, and a method of manufacturing same with which it is possible to control a pretilt angle with high precision. The present invention is an exposure device which exposes a photo-aligned film which is disposed on the obverse face of a substrate while moving the substrate relative to an exposure light. The exposure device carries out a first exposure which exposes a first portion of the photo-aligned film and a second exposure which exposes a second portion of the photo-aligned film. In the first exposure, the direction of the movement of the substrate relative to the exposure light and the direction of the projection on the face of the substrate of the direction of the illumination of the exposure light have substantially opposite orientations. In the second exposure, the direction of the movement and the direction of the projection have substantially the same orientation. An angle formed by the direction of the normal of the face of the substrate and the direction of the illumination is greater in the second exposure than in the first exposure.</p>
