PURPOSE: A high frequency treatment system and an operation method thereof are provided to reduce the pain of a patient due to the radiation error of high frequency voltage. CONSTITUTION: A high frequency treatment system comprises a controller(110), a high frequency generation unit(120), a probe(130), a conductive plate(140), a detection unit(150), and a switching unit(160). The controller controls the operation of the high frequency treatment system. The high frequency generation unit generates high frequency voltage. The probe is connected to one electrode of the high frequency generation unit. The conductive plate is connected to the other electrode of the high frequency generation unit. The detection unit detects voltage between the conductive plate and resistance node and provides the voltage to the controller. The switching unit is installed on a route between the node and controller.
