<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently use an inverter for driving a propelling electric motor by a storage battery mounted on a ship. <P>SOLUTION: An inverter device 17A drives the propelling electric motor 1 by the inverter 7A by arranging the storage battery 8A in the ship. The storage battery 8A is charged by introducing an alternating current from a land power source 24 to the output side 7E of the inverter via an inboard bus bar 20 and rectifying it in anchorage. When SOC of the storage battery 8A reduces to a reference value or less in sailing, output of a diesel generator 21 is directly supplied to the inverter 7A from a diode converter 6A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
