<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact card connector through simplification of a structure as well as size and thickness reduction of individual parts. <P>SOLUTION: A card connector of the present invention comprises: a housing 2 which houses a card 1 so as to make electrical contact with it: an ejection mechanism 3 which has a slider 31 and a biasing member 32, and which moves the card in an ejection direction; and a lock mechanism 4 which has a cam part 31a and a lock member 41, and which holds the slider against biasing force of the biasing member.
