<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a use of ET743 in the preparation of a medicament for the treatment of the human body for cancer, a pharmaceutically prescribed medicament including ET743 for intravenous injection for treating human cancer, and a method for treating cancer in a human patient, including administering ET743. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes: administering ET743 in a dose of 1,000 to 1,500 micrograms per 1 m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>of the body surface area over 24 hours by intravenous injection, or administering ET743 in a dose of 1,000 to 1,650 micrograms per 1 m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>of the body surface area over 3 hours by intravenous injection.
