PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aerosol composition and the like capable of stably repelling noxious insects such as flying noxious insects for a long period in the outdoors.

SOLUTION: This noxious insect repellent aerosol composition for ground spraying includes: 0.5-5 wt.% of an insecticidal component having vapor pressure of 2×10-6-2×10-5mmHg at 25°C based on the Donovan method; 35-70 wt.% of a lipophilic solvent having a boiling point of 150-280°C; and 25-64.5 wt.% of a liquid propellant compatible with the insecticidal component and the lipophilic solvent. For example, the insecticidal component is metofluthrin. The noxious insect repellent aerosol product for ground spraying produced by filling an aerosol container with the noxious insect repellent aerosol composition for ground spraying, and a method, wherein invasion by noxious insects to the space above the ground is prevented by spraying the noxious insect repellent aerosol composition for ground spraying, for repelling noxious insects are also provided.
