<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burner that is capable of obtaining a high turn down ratio with a simple structure without causing combustion failure by keeping a generally-constant flow velocity of burning air with respect to an increase and decrease of a combustion amount. <P>SOLUTION: This burner 1 includes nozzles 5, 6 for injecting fuel, and an air supply route 3 for supplying the burning air fed from an air blast means to the circumference of the fuel injected from the nozzles 5, 6. The burner is provided with: a rotating plate 20 formed with a plurality of holes 21 communicating with a plurality of air jetting ports 17 opening to the air supply route 3; a drive means 22 to rotationally drive the rotating plate 20; and a control means 4 to control the drive means 22; and is structured to control the rotation angle of the rotating plate 20 in accordance with a combustion load to adjust the opening area of the air jetting ports 17 of the air supply route 3. The control means 4 controls the drive means 22 so that the flow velocity of the burning air passing through the air jetting ports 17 of the air supply route 3 is set nearly constant with respect to the increase and decrease of a flow rate of the burning air. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
