<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant holding tool allowing to stably implant plants of various diameters by dropping them from an aircraft on a denuded land in a mountainous area making a person and a machine hardly go in, and to improve a regenerative greening ratio of the denuded land. <P>SOLUTION: The plant holding tool is obtained by installing each a first insertion hole 11a and a second insertion hole 21a for tightening/holding a plant, on the top board of a body part 10 and the top wall of an upper cover part 20 in an eccentric condition from each center of the body part and the upper cover part, and installing a plurality of body part side ratchet nails 11b on the outer peripheral part of the top board upper surface of the body part 10, and a plurality of upper cover part side ratchet nails 21b on the outer peripheral part of the top wall lower surface of the upper cover part 20 so as to form a ratchet mechanism thereby.
