PURPOSE: A data processing method and a display device performing the same are provided to prevent a collision between local dimming dithering and color correction dithering and minimize increase in the number of gates. CONSTITUTION: A display panel(200) comprises a plurality of pixels. A light source module(600) comprises a plurality of light source blocks and provides light to a display panel. A color correction unit corrects the color of input data of the current frame to create color correction data. A PWM operation unit determines the dimming levels of light emitting blocks. A pixel correction unit creates corrected data of input data using correction coefficient data.
