<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sensitive recording medium having sufficient print density, printing image quality, glossiness, whiteness, scuff resistance, water resistance, and plasticizer resistance. <P>SOLUTION: In the heat-sensitive recording medium, which includes a heat-sensitive recording layer containing a colorless or light-colored electron donating leuco dye, and an electron accepting developer on a support, and a protective layer on the heat-sensitive recording layer, and the heat-sensitive recording layer includes a specific diphenylsulfone compound as an electron accepting developer, and the protective layer is obtained by being brought in press contact with a heated mirror-surfaced drum in a state of moistening, and by thereafter being dryed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
