<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sterilize and deodorize an object without stressing clothes and a housing. <P>SOLUTION: A washing and drying machine comprises: an air flow path 5 connecting an outer tub 3 and an air conditioner 39 to each other for allowing air present in the outer tub 3 to be circulated; air sending means 15 for circulating, under pressure, air present in the air flow path 5; and electrostatic atomizing means 83 for supplying electrostatic atomized particles into the outer tub 3. The air flow path 5 includes a spiral casing 15b containing the air sending means 15; and a flow path provided on a side of the air sending means 15 from which the air is sent out under pressure, branched from the spiral casing 15b and merged into the spiral casing 15b. The electrostatic atomizing means 83 is provided on the spiral casing 15b and supplies the electrostatic atomized particles into the flow path, so that an object and inside of the tub may be protected from propagation of fungi and mold and may be always kept in a clean state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
