<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve lightness of a display image while suppressing the mixture of a right-eye image and a left-eye image from being perceived by a user. <P>SOLUTION: A display control circuit outputs gradation data DA which are obtained by reducing the number of bits of gradation data DB in a right-eye image GR and a left-eye image GL successively in a term T1 and outputs the gradation data DB successively in a term T2 (T2>T1). A scan line driver circuit selects each of scan lines successively for each selection period HA[m] corresponding to the term T1 within a first period P1 in each of a right-eye period PR and a left-eye period PL which are set alternately, and selects each of scan lines successively for each selection period HB[m] corresponding to the term T2 within a second period P2 after the lapse of the first period P1. A signal line driver circuit supplies a gradation signal X[n] corresponding to the gradation data DA to each of signal lines successively for each selection period HA[m] and supplies a gradation signal X[n] corresponding to the gradation data DB to each of signal lines successively for each selection period HB[m]. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
