<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contactless power supply system allowing high overall efficiency of power supply, cost reduction. and easy control of secondary DC output voltage. <P>SOLUTION: A half bridge inverter 20 is used for a high-frequency AC power supply connected to the primary side of a contactless power transformer 30, and a voltage doubler rectifier 40 is used for DC conversion of secondary-side AC output of the contactless power transformer 30. Although AC output voltage of a half bridge inverter is reduced to a half of that of a full-bridge inverter, output voltage of the voltage doubler rectifier is twice of that of a full-wave rectifier, which makes the overall voltage ratio between inverter input voltage and secondary-side DC voltage nearly equal. Voltage of the contactless power transformer is reduced to nearly a half of that of the prior art, providing advantages in loss reduction of ferrite and insulation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
