<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position detecting system capable of realizing highly accurate position detection with practical cost and practical processing time by using an optical position detecting device and an imaging device together, and further to provide a displaying system, an information processing system and the like. <P>SOLUTION: A position detecting system includes: a coordinate information acquiring section 410 acquiring initial coordinate information on an object to be detected by causing an optical position detecting device to emit irradiation light to the object and receiving reflected light from the object; a captured image acquiring section 420 acquiring a captured image from an imaging section; and a coordinate calculating section 430 performing processing with respect to an image that is specified by the initial coordinate information among captured images acquired by the captured image acquiring section 420 and further has a narrower range than those of the captured images so as to obtain final coordinate information on the object. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
