<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently record position information corresponding to video data, and clearly display the position information with an outline of the video in reproduction. <P>SOLUTION: Position information on an imaging place contained in a designated video file is read out from change point position information, and map information entirely covering each position of the position information is acquired from a map information database by a map information acquisition unit. Then, a thumbnail corresponding to each position is acquired by a thumbnail acquisition unit from a change point thumbnail. A map is drawn by a map drawing unit based on the position information, the map information, and the thumbnail. When one of the thumbnails is selected and indicated by a user, the video corresponding to the thumbnail is reproduced by a video reproduction unit.
