<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unnatural display of a video signal. <P>SOLUTION: The video signal processing device, which can receive a video signal and additional information of the video signal and process the video signal based on the additional information, comprises: a processing part 20 which processes the video signal; a memory part 50 which stores control information defining a process to be performed by the processing part 20 instead of a process based on the additional information; and a control part 40 which controls the processing part 20 to process the video signal based on the additional information when the additional information meets a specification and the control information corresponding to the additional information is not stored in the memory part 50, and controls the processing part 20 to process the video signal based on the control information when the additional information meets the specification and the control information corresponding to the additional information is stored in the memory part 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
