<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front vehicle-body structure for an automobile that surely transmits input during a vehicle collision from an apron member to the vehicle-body rear part via a front pillar without causing an increase in vehicle-body weight and costs. <P>SOLUTION: At least a joint of an apron member 3 in a front pillar 4 is arranged with a pillar reinforcement 16 having a plurality of longitudinal walls 16c, 16d extending in a direction of closing a space between a pillar outer panel 14 and a pillar inner panel 15. The part near the joint of the apron member 3 on the pillar inner panel 15 is formed with a bead 15f having a plurality of longitudinal walls 15g, 15h protruding into the front pillar 4.
