PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more accurately determine a travel amount of a lens which adjusts a focal point.
SOLUTION: A past log table 182 stores combinations of imaging parameters of an unfocused subject 20 and imaging information based on features of each image of the subject 20, and travel amounts of a focus lens 11 from an unfocused position to an estimated focal point by a focus performance when actually picking up an image specified by the imaging parameters and the imaging information, by associating them with each other. A retrieval part 145 extracts, when picking up a new image, a combination having a high similarity to the present imaging combination from the combinations of the imaging parameters of the unfocused subject 20 and the imaging information based on the features of each image of the subject 20, stored in the past log table 182. A selection part 15 determines, according to a travel amount of the lens associated with the combination extracted by the retrieval part 145, a travel amount of the lens for the focus performance of imaging.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
