<p>[Problem] To provide an absorbent article with improved fit, wherein the absorbent conforms easily to the shape of the body. [Solution] In the absorbent (4): the thickness of the absorbent in the gluteal cleft-facing region (25), which comprises the portion that faces the gluteal cleft and is posterior to the blood-discharging orifice-facing region (23) comprising the portion that faces the blood-discharging orifice, is formed to be thinner than the thickness of the absorbent in the blood-discharging orifice-facing region (23); and a first compressed groove (26) is provided on the unused surface of the gluteal cleft-facing region (25) and along the longitudinal direction in the center of the transverse direction of the feminine napkin (1). Because the thickness of the absorbent in the gluteal cleft-facing region (25) is formed to be thinner than the thickness of the absorbent in the blood-discharging orifice-facing region (23), the absorbent has an anterior convexity (21) that protrudes on the skin-contacting surface in the blood-discharging orifice-facing region (23) but does not form a convexity in the gluteal cleft-facing region (25).</p> |
