<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backlight unit having an air guide capable of making the weight lighter and being mass-produced, and provide a display device using this. <P>SOLUTION: The backlight unit includes a first reflector, a second reflector, and at least one light source arranged between the first and the second reflectors. The second reflector includes at least two inclined faces having at least one inflection point and curvature radii of the first and the second inclined faces which are adjacent mutually to the inflection point as a center are different from each other.
