<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device equipped with organic EL elements and LEDs as light sources. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting device includes a plurality of organic EL light emitting parts having organic EL elements and a plurality of LEDs. The LEDs are provided as point light sources and the organic EL light emitting parts as surface light sources. Blue color light emitting LEDs and yellow color light emitting organic EL elements are used to obtain white color illumination light. The LEDs are arranged on a rear or front face of the organic EL light emitting parts so that the light from the LEDs may pass between two of the organic EL light emitting parts. Thereby, light can be extracted from the LEDs without passing through the organic EL light emitting parts. Further, the organic EL elements are sealed by two substrates and a sealing material, and deterioration due to moisture and oxygen can be prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
