<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which prevents defective printing generated in an adhesion layer provided on one surface of a linerless label when printing, and can print with high precision. <P>SOLUTION: The label printer for printing on the linerless label L having the adhesive layer for sticking to a side opposite to a printing surface includes: a conveyance belt 2 for adhesively conveying the linerless label; a printing head 4 arranged oppositely to the conveyance belt at a conveyance position of the conveyance belt; a platen roller 3 which is opposite to the printing head, is substantially on the same surface as the conveyance belt surface, and arranged at a position for holding the linerless label; and label pressings 5, 6 for pressure-bonding the adhesive layer of the linerless label to the belt surface on the upper side orthogonal to the conveyance direction of the conveyance belt.
