<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas filter assembly and a method for filtering gases which are used to remove particulate material and other contaminants from gases. <P>SOLUTION: The gas filter assembly 10 includes a housing 11 and a gas filter 12 positioned in the housing.
