<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent, in a more reliable manner, floating of a front retainer from being overlooked. <P>SOLUTION: A front retainer floating detection device 20 comprises: an inspection part 22 which can be brought into contact with a front retainer 16 of a connector housing 12 from the front side in a connection direction of a connector 10; an inspection part holding member 40 which holds the inspection part 22 such that it is movable between a normal state detection position that can be in contact with the properly mounted front retainer 16 and a retracted position that is retracted from the normal state detection position; and an inspection part biasing member 50 which biases the inspection part 22 to the normal state detection position. A floating detection switch 60 is provided such that it maintains its on-state when the inspection part 22 is at the normal state detection position and changes over to the off-state when the inspection part 22 moves closer to the retracted position than it is to the normal state detection position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
