<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a teaching material for trimming training with which variation in sewing positions and lengths of string-like objects can be prevented even when manufacturing the trimming teaching material by sewing a plurality of string-like objects to a substrate comprised of a material having flexibility. <P>SOLUTION: A fixture 1 is used for manufacturing a teaching material for trimming training. The fixture 1 is in a shape of long plate and includes a reference hole 10a which becomes a reference of a sewing position of a string-like object (e.g., wool yarn 2) along one longer side. Furthermore, in the fixture 1, between the other longer side and the reference hole 10a, an index to cut the string-like object is provided. The index is e.g., a hole or a groove 10b. Then, the string-like object is wound around the fixture 1 and temporarily fixed to a substrate and thereafter, the string-like object such as wool yarn 2 is cut at a position of the index. An inner surface of e.g., the reference hole 10a is then used as a guide of a sewing machine and the string-like object is sewn to the substrate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
