<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relatively compact and low-cost electronic chronometer that displays the remaining charge of a battery and the state of functioning varying with the remaining charge, a user's operation and other factors with a single pointer. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic chronometer comprises: function executing means 21 that executes prescribed functions and selects one of a first state and a second state differing from each other on the basis of an operation by an external operating member 7 and the remaining charge of a power source 8; and control means 23 that controls the operation of the function executing means 21; a first display unit 45 that, within a first rotating range 43 of a pointer 41, simultaneously displays information indicating that the function executing means is in the first state and information items 45a to 45c representing the remaining charge of the power source; and a second display unit 46 that, within a second rotating range 44 of the pointer 41 differing from the first rotating range 43, simultaneously displays information indicating that the function executing means is in the second state and information items 46a to 46e representing the remaining charge of the power source. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
