<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake system cooling device for supplying intake air to an engine with a supercharger at a temperature which improves combustion efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: In a vehicle, an engine 10 with an automobile supercharger is provided, and an inter cooler body 1 is arranged above the engine 10 or in front of a radiator 14. In the intake system pipe cooling device, ram pressure air 19 is taken from an air intake port 11 added in a front part of the vehicle, and guided to a cooling cover 13 mounted in the intake system pipe located behind the radiator 14 by a relay duct 12. The ram pressure air 19 is introduced to blow the intake air to be cooled by covering from an outlet chamber 2 of an inter cooler body 1 to a second intake hose 3 in front of a throttle valve 4 with the cooling cover 13, or covering a gap including the next throttle valve 4 and a surge tank 8 as a cooling cover extended part 13A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
