<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combine harvester capable of easily performing the steering operation to change the direction of advancement (direction of movement) of a travelling machine body 1 while capable of changing the vehicle speed by appropriate gear shift operation of right and left travelling gear shifting levers 43 and 44. <P>SOLUTION: The combine harvester includes a harvesting unit 3, a threshing unit 9 having a threshing cylinder 21, and a travelling machine body 1 having right and left travelling parts 2, for feeding grain stalks from the harvesting unit 3 to the threshing unit 9. The right and left gear shifting levers 43 and 44 are disposed in a side column 41b in the vicinity of a driver seat 42. The right and left travelling gear shifting levers 43 and 44 and neutral position retaining mechanisms 417 and 418 for holding the right and left travelling gear shifting levers 43 and 44 at travelling gear shift neutral positions are disposed in a side column frame 281a forming a part of the side column 41b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
