<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device capable of preventing toner from leaking to the outside of the cleaning device and an image forming apparatus on which the cleaning device is mounted. <P>SOLUTION: A cleaning device (50) cleaning a surface of a photoreceptor drum (18) on which a toner image is formed by developing a latent image formed through contact electrification by the toner includes: a cleaning member (52) removing residual toner from the surface of the photoreceptor drum (18); and side seal members (60) which are extended toward an inner region in a development width from both end positions of the cleaning member respectively, when viewed in the rotation axis direction of the photoreceptor drum, on the upstream side of a contact position between the photoreceptor drum and the cleaning member, when viewed in the rotational direction of the photoreceptor drum and can store the residual toner removed by the cleaning member by the contact with the surface of the photoreceptor drum (18). The side seal members have a taper counter part (66) which is inclined so as to get closer to the cleaning member as the taper counter part (66) gets away from both end positions of the photoreceptor drum, to come into contact with the surface of the photoreceptor drum, in the inner region in the development width, when viewed in the rotation axis direction of the photoreceptor drum. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
