PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a sealing member and a molding device thereof are provided to improve the durability of a pump with maintaining the sealing property between a piston and a cylinder. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a sealing member(50) is as follows. A resin sheet(50S) is mounted to a first cylindrical part(111) and a first fixture(110) having a first bottom part(112). A second cylindrical part and a second fixture having a second bottom part are mounted to the first fixture. A sheet member is compressed at predetermined pressure by the first and second bottom parts. A flat part(50a) is formed between the first and second bottom part as the first and second fixtures are heated at predetermined temperature. A sealing part is formed between the first and second cylindrical parts.
