PURPOSE: A needle plate for flat plate press of pile fabric is provided to obtain high sensibility file based fiber products having enhanced form stability. CONSTITUTION: A needle plate for flat plate press of pile fabric comprises a binder layer(12) for needle fixation and a compressed plate layer(10). On the compression board layer, a plurality of arrange pipes(11) is formed. On the arrange pipes, a cushion pad layer(8), and a u-shaped needle(14) are arranged. The U-shaped needles are straight standing arranged through the plurality of arrange pipes of the compression board layer. The U-shaped needles are supported by the impact absorbing pad layer of the lower part. The U shaped needles are fixed by being welded by the adhesive binder layer for needle fixation. The u-shaped needles have width directional intervals which are partially overlapped with the adjacent needles in the width direction. The U-shaped needle has shorter vertical gaps(j) than cross gaps overlapped with the adjacent needles in the vertical direction.
