A turbine engine comprises a case (42)and a centerbody (40) within the case (42) and separated from the case (42) by a core flowpath. A circumferential array of augmentor vanes (50) extends between the centerbody (40) and case (42). A circumferential array of resonators (80) is arranged within the centerbody (40) each having a port open to the core flowpath. Each resonator (80) comprises a resonator body having a neck (84) and an enlarged main body (86) inboard of the neck (84). The main body (86) has a convex first circumferential side and a concave second circumferential side converging inboard, each first circumferential side nested with the second adjacent side of a first adjacent one of the resonators (80) and each second circumferential side nested with the first adjacent side of a second adjacent one of the resonators (80).
