HOLLOW FIBER MEMBRANE MODULE WITH MULTI-LAYER POTTING PART AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A hollow fiber membrane module with multi-layered potting parts and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve the resistance and the sealing characteristic of the module. CONSTITUTION: Hollow fiber membranes(2) are arranged in a module case(1) with a feed water inlet(3). Potting parts(X) are positioned at both end parts of the hollow fiber membranes. The potting parts are multi-layered structures composed of two or more potting layers(A, B, C). The potting layers are based on different potting solutions. A method for manufacturing a hollow fiber membrane module includes the following: the module case is mounted at a centrifugal molding unit; potting processes with potting solutions are repeated; and potting processes with different potting solutions are repeated.
