PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for collecting indoor GPS signal characteristic, and an indoor positioning method are provided to perform indoor position measurement by establishing database of GPS signal characteristic. CONSTITUTION: An information collection unit recognizes an identification code. The information collection unit receives a searched identification code and searched GPS relay information(S305). The information of the GPS relay comprises the signal intensity information of the surrounding GPS relay. An analysis unit analyzes the identification code. The analysis unit extracts position information including the position coordinates information. A database construction unit stores the position information and the extracted GPS relay information in database.
