PURPOSE: A streetlamp post with a surface material made of synthetic wood having a luminous function is provided to prevent light emitted from a streetlamp from dazzling people in the daytime. CONSTITUTION: A streetlamp post(1) with a surface material made of synthetic wood having a luminous function is composed as follows. A pipe having a thickness of 5-10mm is formed by putting a mixture of 53-60 wt% of wood powder, 36-40 wt% of polypropylene resin, 2-3 wt% of auxiliary additive, and 2-4 wt% of luminous material into an extruder and extruding the mixture at a temperature between 180-200 degrees. Contact protrusions(2a) having a height of 0.5-10mm are formed on the inner surface of the pipe at uniform intervals. A surface material(2) is formed on the surfaces of the formed contact protrusions. The surface material is integrally inserted onto the outer surface of the streetlamp post.
