The device is configured to calibrate at least one image sensor system (14) depending on image signals of the system from a calibration object in a road plane. It is configured to calibrate the system depending on a first image signal and at least one second image signal, whereby the first image signal is produced at a first position of the system relative to the calibration object and the second image signal is produced at one or more second positions different from the first position.
