PURPOSE: A system and method for storing compressed air in an EGS plant using wind energy are provided to reduce the amount of greenhouse gas by injecting the compressed air as required when a wind speed increases. CONSTITUTION: A system and method for storing compressed air in an EGS plant using wind energy are as follows. Wind energy is sorted into wind speed ranges like first, second, and third wind speeds. Independent compressed air storage tanks are installed in the EGS plant. The limit of the pressure of the compressed air gradually increases if the wind speed increases. The compressed air is effectively stored without wind energy losses as the wind speed increases.
