POLYMER CONCRETE UTILIZING OYSTER SHELL POWDER AS A FILLER

PURPOSE: A polymer concrete which uses oyster shell powder as a filler is provided to utilize processed oyster shell powder as polymer concrete filler, thereby increasing use amount of the oyster shell powder without degradation of strength and product quality of polymer concrete. CONSTITUTION: A polymer concrete which uses oyster shell powder as a filler comprises 9-15 wt% of binding material, 35-40 wt% of coarse aggregate, 38-45 wt% of fine aggregate, 9.5-10.5 wt% of the oyster shell powder. The polymer concrete additionally includes 0.09-0.15 wt% of hardener. The binding material is an ortho-type unsaturated-polyester resin. The particle size of the oyster shell powder is 0.15mm or less.
