PURPOSE: A device and method for controlling the temperature of purified water of a water purifier are provided to increase a purified water flow rate being discharged through a water outlet because the purified water flow rate being supplied to a heater is controlled according to the temperature of an outlet of the heater while an output of the heater is regularly maintained. CONSTITUTION: A device for controlling the temperature of purified water of a water purifier comprises a heater(60), a water flow rate controlling unit(40), an outlet temperature sensor(70), and a controlling unit(90). The heater heats purified water. The water flow rate controlling unit controls a water flow rate of the purified water. The outlet temperature sensor senses the outlet temperature of the heater being discharged from the heater. The controlling unit controls the water flow rate controlling unit while an output of the heater is regularly maintained. The controlling unit maintains the outlet temperature of the heater sensed by the outlet temperature sensor at setting temperature.
