<p>The present invention is related to a method for selecting an image comprises forming a group of digital image representations, displaying a first digital image representation of the group of digital image representations on a touch sensitive display, generating a position signal in response to a detection of a pointing device on the touch sensitive display, said position signal indicating a touch position, identifying a selected position within the displayed first digital image representation based on the position signal, generating a zoom-in signal in response to a detection of the pointing device sliding away from the touch position on the touch display, said zoom signal indicating a sliding distance from the touch position, displaying an enlarged representation of the first digital image representation in response to the zoom-in signal, generating a shift signal in response to a detection of a second sliding motion of the fingertip on the touch sensitive display, and displaying a second digital image representation and an enlarged representation of the second digital image representation in response to the shift signal, the enlargement of the subarea being based on the zoom signal generated during displaying of the first digital image representation.</p> |
