PURPOSE: Producing method and apparatus for fermentable sugar are provided to reduce the generation amount of waste water, and to economically produce the fermentable sugar by using high concentration biomass. CONSTITUTION: A producing apparatus for fermentable sugar comprises the following: a feeder for inserting raw materials including a biomass(10) and a solvent to obtain a mixture; a reactor reacting the mixture; a solid-liquid separator(109) separating the reacted mixture into a solid material and supernatant liquid(20); a precipitating unit precipitating the supernatant liquid and circulating liquid filtered from a filter, and obtaining concentrate containing lignin and a solvent; a solvent separator separating the supernatant liquid and the concentrate into the solvent and the circulating liquid; a lignin separator separating the lignin from the concentrate; first, second, and third filters; and a saccharifying device including plural paddles.
