The present invention relates to a device for injecting a gaseous reagent into an exhaust line (1), said device comprising an active gas tank (8), a reagent supply pipe (7), a valve (11), and a flow-limiting means (12) arranged downstream from the valve (11). The invention can be particularly used for injecting ammonia in order to reduce the nitrogen oxides present in an exhaust line of a diesel internal combustion engine.
