The controller (SG) has a microprocessor (MC) for controlling person security devices (PS) depending on a sensor signal. Security controllers (SCON) enable the controlling of the person security devices depending on the sensor signal. A slave processor (B) reformats a bus signal e.g. flexray signal, into a serial peripheral interface signal, and provides the interface signal for one of the security controllers, where the bus signal, which includes the sensor signal, is collected from outside of the controller. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling a person security device. |
