PURPOSE: A hybrid network camera is provided to transmit a high definition image more than HD class utilizing a coaxial network and to improve security by compressing an image with desire revolution by using a high efficiency compressed codec. CONSTITUTION: A hybrid network camera comprises a camera module(100), an IP module(200) for a network camera, and an interface board(300). The camera module takes a photograph of an image. The camera module changes an YCbCr422 format signal of 16 bits into an LVDS(Low Voltage Differential signal) signal of 10bits. The IP module for the network camera is connected to the camera module and receives the LVDS of 10bits. The IP module for the network camera restores the LVDS of 10bits into the YCbCr422 format signal of 16 bits and changes it into an SDI(Serial Digital Interface) signal canning be transmitted to a coaxial cable. The IP module for the network camera compresses the YCbCr422 format signal of 16 bits. The interface board provides the SDI signal to the coaxial cable and provides the compressed YCbCr422 format signal of 16 bits to a network socket. |
