PURPOSE: A secondary battery is provided to reduce the void volume and to prevent an electrode assembly from being damaged in drop impacts. CONSTITUTION: A secondary battery comprises an electrode assembly, a case(140) which accepts the electrode assembly, a cap-plate(150) which blocks up the opening of the case, electrode terminals which are extended by penetrating through the cap plate from both ends of the cap plate, and a flexure(152) which is extended to one direction between the electrode terminals. The flexure is extended from the upper side of the cap plate towards the electrode assembly. The cap plate includes a plateau(151), and more than half of the plateau is occupied by the flexure.
