PURPOSE: An intelligent guide system and a method for an electric car charging station are provided to conveniently charge a battery without waiting for a long time by leading vehicles to the charging station which can charge immediately. CONSTITUTION: A battery management system(10) controls a battery over all. A vehicle control unit(20) finds a close charging station based on the current location. A communication module(44) is installed in a charging station(40) to communicate with the vehicle control unit. A charging station management server(46) transmits information about a charger(42) of the charging station to the vehicle control unit. A display means(30) displays information about suitable charging stations.
